DogMastery protection dogs are stable, loving, tail-wagging individuals. Competitive by nature, these dogs don’t enjoy losing to anyone in a gripping match - with the exception of their owners. The relationship between handler and dog is bonded so closely that there is never a question in the animal’s mind when requested to execute a certain exercise to perform. Whether obedience, protection or simply maintaining distance on your trail excursions the rapport with your fully trained family member is reliable and not a liability.

 

When a protection dog bites an aggressor it’s nothing personal or vicious; it is simply an exercise the owner has called for and that the dog will execute to the best of its ability with enjoyment. Upon completion of the task, the dog should return to the regular, fun-loving pet it generally behaves like. DogMastery has been at the forefront of protection training since 1991.
